Message 25.12.2007 Queen of Peace

Dear reader,

in this blog I will try to comment on the messages of the Queen of Peace who appears in Medjugorje, Bosnia-Hercegovina since 26 years. These comments will be mainly based on the teaching of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother of Podicherry, India, which is of course my purely personal interpretation as a citizen of Auroville founded by The Mother. I understand that Gospa, as She is called in Croatian, tries to awaken in us true spirituality so that the cross will become really the symbol of transformation - the new creation arising where Spirit and Matter join.
“Dear children! With great joy I bring you the King of Peace for Him to bless you with His blessing. Adore Him and give time to the Creator for whom your heart yearns. Do not forget that you are passers-by on this earth and that things can give you small joys, while through my Son, eternal life is given to you. That is why I am with you, to lead you towards what your heart yearns for. Thank you for having responded to my call.”

Kraljica Mira means Queen of Peace. Jesus is the King of Peace. In its unmanifested aspect the Divine represents purity, calm and freedom - freedom from manifestation and the world of permanently changing phaenomena. By finding Him we get liberated from attachment to the impermanent things. So Gospa asks us to seek our joys not in these worldly things but in Her Son who represents the individual Divine.

This Divine is Immortality and uniting with Him we share His immortality. But at the same time He is the Creator, free within His Creation but its Origin. Our heart longs to unite with this Origin, who is our Father and out of Whom all phenomena flow. Inquiet is our heart till it rests in the Supreme. Gospa, our Mother, wants to lead us towards this fulfillment in space and time based upon eternity.

Our Lady Queen of Peace of Medjugorje’s Annual December 25, 2007 Apparition to Jakov Colo: The apparition began at 2:29 p.m. and lasted 6 minutes. The following is Our Lady’s message:

“Dear children! Today, in a special way I call you to become open to God and for each of your hearts today to become a place of Jesus’ birth. Little children, through all this time that God permits me to be with you, I desire to lead you to the joy of your life. Little children, the only true joy of your life is God. Therefore, dear children, do not seek joy in things of this earth but open your hearts and accept God. Little children, everything passes, only God remains in your heart. Thank you for having responded to my call.”

In Her message to Jakov She stresses the same points. She adds that we must open our hearts and accept God who alone is permanent. The Divine is immanent in our heart and by opening to Him we discover Him and permit Him to be born in our heart. Then He will guide us to the fullness of Divinity because we are called to be perfect like our father in heaven is perfect. Living in the world but free, living in the Divine. This is the perfection spoken about by Jesus in the Gospel according to Thomas, where movement and quiet are one.
